Car Seat Safety Information

 

 

California Child Safety Seat and Seat Belt Laws
California state law requires children to ride in a federally approved baby car seat or child booster seat until they are at least 6 years of age or weigh at least 60 pounds. Further, California requires children under the age of 16 wear a seat belt.
