Frequently Asked Questions

  • What are the Safety Tags used for?

The two main uses for the Safety tags are to adhere to the exterior window of a vehicle to alert other motorists or EMS that a child is present in the car.  The other prominent use of the tag is to adhere it to the entry way window of a home or apartment to alert EMS personnel that a child(ren) reside in the home.

  • Where can I use the Safety Tag?

    The exterior of any window!

      • Car
      • Home/apartment
      • Boat
      • Motor home

  • Is the Safety Tag a sticker?

The Cruisin’ with Kids Safety Tag is a 3 dimensional product that will not peel like a sticker or decal.  It is made with a patented adhesive technology that allows for re-positioning or re-use on another window without losing its adhesive capabilities or leaving behind a sticky residue.  Also, unlike a sticker, the Safety Tag is dent resistant, scratch resistant, and durable enough to withstand all weather conditions.

  • Does the Safety Tag go on the inside or outside of a window?

The Safety Tag is designed to adhere to the exterior of a window to ensure dirt or tint will not reduce visibility.

  • Can I put the tag on my car?  Will it take off the paint?

While we have tested the Safety Tag on the body of a car without it removing paint, all automobile manufacturers are different, and we do not recommend the Safety Tag be placed on a painted surface.  It is our recommendation that customers place the Safety Tag on the exterior of a window surface.

  • Why makes a Safety Tag different from similar products on the market?

Unlike similar products, our Safety Tag has a duel purpose not only to adhere to the exterior window of a car (to ensure dirt or tint will not reduce visibility)  it is also designed to be placed on the exterior of a house/apartment entry way window to alert emergency personnel that a child resides in the home.  The Safety Tag is also a sleek modern design that is aesthetically pleasing.

  • What window should I place the Safety Tag on my home?

Cruisin’ with Kids advises our consumers to adhere the Safety Tag to the entry way window of a house or apartment to alert emergency personnel that a child resides in the home.  Ultimately it is placed at the customer's discretion.

  • Should I place it on my child’s bedroom window?

We do not recommend placing the Safety Tag on a child's bedroom window as it may attract unwanted attention, however, the Safety Tag may be placed at the customer's discretion.
